Yes jewellery can be reused and recycled.

Jewellery can be sold or given away in the following ways;

  • You can donate it to a charity shop.
  • You can sell it at a car boot sale or use a number of online platforms including Gumtree, Friday-Ad, Facebook selling pages and other online platforms. 
  • You can also give it away for free through Freegle.

  • We accept ALL jewellery including BROKEN and DAMAGED items.
  • We can also accept watches, WORKING or BROKEN.

Jiffy Bags

Yes jiffy bags can be reused.

REUSE

  • Individual jiffy bags - keep and reuse for your own purposes or you ask family, friends or colleagues if they also have just the odd one and combine them. When you have a carrier bag full then give away through Freegle. People who sell on-line are the usual recipients of these. 
  • Multiple jiffy bags - when you have a carrier bag full give them away through Freegle.  People who sell on-line are the usual recipients of these.

Johnson's Baby Wipes

No baby wipes can not be recycled.

Johnson's Baby launched the "Wipe Out Waste" scheme in partnership with Terracycle in May 2011. Johnson’s Baby was the first baby wipes manufacturer to take the lead to recycle its packaging but that scheme has now ended. 

DID YOU KNOW?

  • Baby wipes are causing hundreds of thousands of blockages in the UK sewer system and costing the country £100m every year, according to a new report.
  • There have been numerous campaigns run throughout the UK asking people not to flush baby wipes. only flush “the three Ps: pee, paper and poo”.
  • Some companies still describe their wipes as flushable despite the fact they cause so many problems.
