Green Diary Events - April 2018
Food Partnership's Spring Event
This year, the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership's spring member's event focuses on their fish campaign. It will involve a screening of the powerful documentary 'The End of the Line' followed by an update on what has been done so far. There will be vegetarian canapés and the venue's bar will be open. It's free to attend with donations gratefully received on the door.
The End of the Line is the first major feature documentary that reveals the impact of overfishing on our oceans. Filmed over two years, it follows investigative reporter Charles Clover as he travels the world meeting top scientists, politicians, fishermen and celebrity restaurateurs. He discovers how our global love affair with eating seafood has put us on course to potentially live in a world without any fish.
