The Upper Gardner Street Market is open every Saturday from 9am and sells local produce and vegetables.

Eco Open Houses

Come and be inspired by visiting an eco-home near you!

Some Eco Open Houses are old houses that have been retrofitted and improved, some have just been built. What they feature in common is being cheaper to run and requiring less mains energy to keep them warm.

One Planet Living Public Meeting

Inspirational talks on One Planet Living are coming to Hanover, Brighton!

Pooran Desai O.B.E. is confirmed as the keynote speaker as part of the Hanover Centre in Brighton Eco Open House 2013.
Pooran is a co-founder of BioRegional (the architects of One Planet Living) and will share the stage with Council Leader Jason Kitcat and the Council's Head of Sustainability Thurstan Crockett on the impact of Brighton become the first City to adopt One Planet Living principles.
