Reduce / Reuse / Recycle at the Green Centre
Drop in the Green Centre between 10.30am and 4.30pm and bring your unwanted items which we will re-use or recycle. Stay for a chat and a cuppa - we sell a wide range of Fairtrade teas (£1) and coffees (£1)
We accept: Aluminum foil and small pieces of scrap metal (copper, brass, lead), bedding, books, bric-a-brac, clothes, elastic bands (Red Royal Mail), foreign and old currency, household items, milk bottle tops (plastic), used postage stamps, tetra paks, textiles (bedding, clothes, linen, towels, etc), toys and unwanted gifts. See the full list on our Re-Use & Recycling page.
We sell: Bric-a-brac, clothes and accessories, toys, etc.
We are a Community Interest Company (not-for-profit). All proceeds go towards the cost of running the centre (rent, utilities, volunteer costs, community project costs, etc).
We support the following charities through our re-use and recycling schemes;
