Aluminium Foil

Yes aluminium foil can be reused and recycled.

REUSE
If you are careful you can wash your foil and reuse it. Include it as part of your washing up so you don't waste water. After it can no longer be re-used, aluminium foil can be recycled. Please make sure the foil is clean before recycling.

How?

  • Foil must be clean.
  • You can include aluminium foil from a roll, take-away containers, milk bottle tops, etc. You can also incluse tea-lights but all the wax, the metal disc and any wock must be removed.
  • The silver packaging from T-Bags is not foil. It is plastic.
