Bedding

Yes bedding can be reused and recycled.

REUSE
Bedding including sheets, pillowcases, quilt covers and blankets can be reused if they are clean and in good condition. 

  • You can donate it to a charity shop.
  • You can sell it at a car boot sale or use a number of online platforms including Gumtree, Friday-Ad, Facebook selling pages and other online platforms. 
  • You can also give it away for free through Freegle.

RECYCLED
Where?

  • Put into any of the textiles recycling bins located around Brighton and Hove.
  • Put in textiles recycling bin found at either of the council Household Waste and Recycling sites at Old Shoreham Road in Hove or Wilson Avenue in Brighton. 

How?

  • It must be clean.
  • It must be in reasonable condition

- 0.2kg of pesticides.
