Yes shoes can be reused and recycled.

REUSE

• You can donate them to a charity shop.
• You can sell it them at a car boot sale or use a number of online platforms including Gumtree, Friday-Ad, Facebook selling pages and other online platforms. 
• You can also give it away for free through Freegle.

Where?

• You can include shoes in Textiles Recycling bins throughout the city.

How?

• Shoes must be in pairs
• Shoes must be in reasonable condition

DID YOU KNOW?

• Shoes can take up to 1,000 years to break down. Commonly made with a material called ethylene vinyl, the midsoles of shoes can take a really long time to break down.
