Green Centre One Planet Living

The Green Centre was practising One Planet Living as early as 2006. Our practice was recognised in 2013 when Brighton & Hove became the first One Planet Living City in the world and the Green Centre was invited to be part of the city's One Planet strategy representing the ZERO WASTE principle. 

Since 2013, the Green Centre has redoubled it's efforts to integrate One Planet Living into everything we do;   

• we studied the challenges to gain a better understanding of the difficulties we all face
• we focused our attention on the goals we need to observe to inform our actions 
• we created a set of intentions based on our learning and set about putting these into action.
